The top drive drilling system is installed on the upper part of the derrick space of the drilling rig, and the drill string is sent downward through a special guide rail to complete various drilling operations such as rotary drilling of the drill string, circulating drilling fluid, connecting single roots, making and breaking buckles, and back-marking. Its power source is generally a hydraulic motor or an electric motor, and the electric top drive has DC, AC, AC frequency conversion and other forms. The top drive drilling system has now become a standard product in the oil drilling industry. It has a wide range of applicability, and the top drive drilling system can be used for wells from 2000 meters to 9000 meters.
The top drive drilling system produced and sold by our company Huichi Petro is mainly composed of the main parts such as the faucet-drilling motor assembly, the balance system and control system, the guide pulley and the guide rail. Other components: The top drive is composed of several parts such as the power unit, the tilting device, the pipe handling device, the torque tube, etc., and each part works together to ensure the stable operation of the top drive.
The faucet-drilling motor assembly transmits the rotational power of the power source (usually a hydraulic motor or an electric motor as the power, among which the electric top drive has DC, AC, AC frequency conversion and other forms) to the drill bit to realize the rotary drilling of the drill bit. The balance system is used to balance the weight of the faucet-drilling motor assembly, reduce the load on the derrick, and ensure the stability of the drill bit during the drilling process. The control system monitors the parameters of the drilling process in real time through various sensors, such as torque, speed, drilling pressure, etc., and accurately controls the power source and other equipment according to the preset parameter values to ensure the safety and efficiency of the drilling operation.
