Working principle and function:

The annular blowout preventer is operated by a hydraulic control system. Its working principle is that when it is closed, the high-pressure oil pushes the piston upward, and the piston cone squeezes the rubber core, so that the rubber core is squeezed to the center of the wellhead until it holds the drill bit or fully closes the wellhead to achieve the purpose of sealing the well. When it is necessary to release the seal, operate the reversing valve of the hydraulic control system to make the high-pressure oil push the piston downward, close the cavity to release pressure, and the rubber core returns to its initial state under the action of its own elastic force, and the annular space at the wellhead is opened.
